Das GPM-Paket stellt die Unterstützung für eine Maus auf der Console zur Verfügung.
Das Menü im Setup-Programm ist wie folgt aufgebaut:

Die Konfiguration wird über den Menüpunkt „Edit configuration“ geändert.
In der Konfigurationsdatei, welche über das Menü zugänglich ist,
sind folgende Parameter vorhanden; wer sie von Hand editieren will,
findet sie unter
/etc/config.d/gpm

Standardeinstellung: START_GPM='no'
Gültige Werte: /dev/input/mice, /dev/psaux
Standardeinstellung: GPM_MOUSE_DEVICE='/dev/input/mice'
