Update eisfair-Version 1.6.4 released

The eisfair base update 1.6.4 is available for download

 

Generelle Bugfixes/Korrekturen:

    • All systems:
      • /var/install/include/packagelib
        • removing backticks on description
      • /var/install/bin/list-packages.cui
        • Check if meta-information "required_base" on index.txt exists and if the installed version meets the requirements. If not, all other updates except the base update are hidden.
      • /var/install/bin/shellrun.cui
        • Fixed bug on parameter usage.
      • /var/install/bin/edit-conf.cui
        • Fixed bug with lost focus during usage of online help.
      • Recreated static devices
      • /etc/check.d/base
        • Gateway definition is optional now.
      • /var/install/config.d/base.sh
        • Show warning if no gateway defined.
      • /var/install/bin/list-packages
        • Check installed base version before searching package updates.
      • /var/install/bin/install-local-package
        • Display of columns on directory list fixed.
        • Removed reference of fixed screensize.
      • Update coreutils 5.2.1
        • Compiled without dependencies to libiconv and libintl
        • Now uses iconv from GNU LibC
    • eisfair-2:
      • Optional gateway definition in base configuration.
      • Gateway optional usable as Point-to-Point link.
      • Add new mdadm init script.
      • Security updates:
        • dnsutils,

        • lsb-base,
        • libmagic,

    • eisfair-1:
      • Update gettext 0.17
        • Compiled without dependencies to libiconv and libintl.
        • Now uses iconv from GNU LibC
        • Readded /usr/bin/iconv version GNU LibC 2.3.6
      • /etc/init.d/boot
        • Added progress bar for fsck.
      • Update less 436

     

    Neue Funktionen:

    •  All systems:
      • New library /var/install/include/virtlib to detect virtual context on which a machine is running. Additionally added tool 'xen-detect' for eisfair-1 and eisfair-2.
    • eisfair-2:
      • Programs /sbin/checkproc /sbin/killproc /sbin/startproc updated to 2.13.
      • Udev updated to version 127.
      • Rsync updated to version 3.0.4-3.
      • Added updatedb
